In this piece, I’ve transformed wood from an old boxspring into a coastal-inspired whale artwork. With pyrography to carve out details and a watercolor wash to give it that ocean-worn look, each part of the wood’s grain adds to the story. This whale isn’t just a piece of art—it’s a blend of the old and the new, full of character and texture.
